This cache is hidden in Ruins of Yamanaka Castle.
Ruins of Yamanaka Castle locates along R1 road while toward Hakone from Mishima city.
The fortification is a civil wars end. Houjou Ujiyasu extended a building in preparation for the attack of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. However, it was attacked by 40,000 of Hideyoshi’s armies, and it surrendered only at half a day.
It is maintained as a historic park where the trait of the mountain castle is told now, and the view of Mt. Fuji is also good.
Cache is a small container with a log book and small items, there is no pen. so please bring a pen.

I visited here last month that I didn't know about Geocaching. Cache was nice place to hide. TFTC

Went around the site of castle and observed its unusual moats.
The remains were covered with a lawn so they would not be damaged. It was so beautiful!
Found the cache with a certain tool.

There was this cache in the place where it seemed that it is hidden only here. But the 3rd hand was necessary to take out and reset the cache. I took time to look for the 3rd hand rather than the cache.
