Cache number 7 in the UnderWorld 8 series, all of which are, as the series title suggests, underground.
This one is an offset, Get to the co-ordinates then follow the instructions.
Park at N50° 36.927 W3° 34.743, Don't block the lime kilns though. Follow the path North until you reach a path that double backs into the woods. Follow your arrow or follow this path around into the quarry. Reception is pretty awful so study the photo. The cave is in the SW wall of the quarry about 15 foot up. There are two huge boulders on the ground near the cave.
As there has been sightings of roosting bats in this cave I've placed a duplicate alternative cache:
THE PIT OF PERIL. This is located at N50° 36.942 W 3° 34.665. This is approx 75m North of 'The Worm has Turned' at the base of an isolated outcrop on the Northern end of the quarry in a shallow re-entrant. This is definately a feet first cache as it drops down steeply!
Please mention in your log which cache/s you visited.
The cache is a 35mm film canister. On the inside rim is one of the following:
1, Lower case letter/s
2, Key="Capital letters"
3, North or West offset values
These will be required to complete the UNDERWORLD 8 Bonus cache.
