Nantmeal Village sits in a hollow. Cell phone reception and TV reception is just not good in many places. Getting out of the village involves a climb. The roads and even the trails in the woods go up! Imagine a horizontal trail that goes neither up or down. Someone did and it was built and now you can walk along along it.
Park in the given parking area and enjoy the walk. After awhile - can you believe it?- you come upon a musical garden with wooden and metal chimes. Enter into the space and try them out. Oh, yes, you are looking for a geocache - it is a camouflaged pill bottle that is well concealed. After finding it, make sure to conceal it again.
It is not advisable to park higher up on Nantmeal Road and bushwack. Park where indicted. Take the time to look for all the other caches in this Nantmeal Woods series. Hunting is not allowed but take the usual precautions in hunting season.
