Kit Fox: I'm sorry to say that this cache is gone, and due to it being rarely visited, I don't feel like replacing it again. It was fun while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

A two part multi cache designed to help you face your fears.

This marks my 50th cache!

Do suffer from a phobia? Are there certain things that you just can't face? Are you ready to face your fears? If you suffer from any of the following phobias, then this cache may help you overcome your fears.

  • Hydrophobia- Fear of Water
  • Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces
  • Lygophobia- Fear of Dark places, being in
  • Acrophobia- Fear of Heights
  • Traumatophobia- Fear of injury
  • Arachnophobia-Fear of spiders

  • This cache is not for the meek, or "weak at heart" crowd. There is the potential for serious injury if one is not careful when attempting this cache.
  • Cache seekers assume all risks involved in seeking this cache
  • This cache is not "kid friendly"

Waypoint one is located "halfway" between both entrances of this tunnel.

How to access the first stage coordinates
  • The correct entrance to this cache is right near my Desert Drink Cache GCKHPP.
  • Slide down the hill to the tunnel, and start crawling
  • The Final Coords are located in the middle of the tunnel, near a rock pile.
  • The coords are listed on an Aluminum tag, above water level, on the east side of the tunnel.
  • I highly recommend knee pads and gloves for crawling inside the tunnel. During the dry season (right now)
  • Even though the water is not currently running, you will get wet while searching for the final coords.
  • During the wet season, a wet suit is a good idea.
  • The actual cache is located inside of the Littlerock Dam Recreation Area. A Forest Adventure pass is needed in order to park your vehicle.
  • The easiest route to the cache is via a dry creek bed. Unfortunately, the creek bed has lots of Poison Oak. You will have to scale several steep and slippery slopes in order to access the cache.
  • While looking for a place to hide the cache, I jumped a Mule Deer Doe. I saw plenty of evidence of Deer activity, in the area. Keep your eyes open.
  • Once at the cache location, you will be rewarded with outstanding scenery and views of the Littlerock lake, and Canyon. Be sure to bring a camera

Congratulations to 5Greens on their first FTF !!!
