Geocache Description:

This is a "Leave No Trace" virtual cache. Short day hike, 7.2 miles round trip. No horses, no bikes. Suitable for children who can walk the distance.

Tolmie Peak is located in Mt Rainier National Park. Travel to Mowich Lake Campground. Follow trail signs to Ipsut Creek Pass, Eunice Lake and Tolmie Peak. At Waypoint N46 deg 57.027 W121 deg 32.069, you will come to two signs, one will direct you towards a pathto your left heading for Eunice Lake and Tolmie Peak. Stop and admire the basalt columns along the way. There is a fire lookout at the top.

To claim this cache: You must email me the answer to the following three questions. Do not post the answers on this site.
1). At waypoint N46deg 57.265 W121 deg 52.540 (I had a 40ft accuracy here, but there are no other signs to confuse you), there is a sign that reads:
Eunice Lake Elevation: A
Tolmie Peak Lookout: B
A: What is the elevation of Eunice Lake as it is listed on the sign?
B: What is the distance to the lookout listed on the sign?

2) Post a photo of or at the Fire Lookout

Placement of physical caches in a National Park is against Federal Law. Caches, log books, etc, will be removed by the Park Service.
