Geocache Description:

Park at the trailhead at the top of 22nd Street in Ogden (N41° 13.605 W111° 55.845). There are a myriad of trails at this trailhead. Follow the signs for the Indian Trail.

Another in the series of COLORFUL caches.

Keep to the Indian Trail for quite a ways. When "you're getting warmer" (at about 150-170 feet left to destination), split off onto another trail heading south that will take you further away from, and then back toward the cache. You are almost there! Stick to that trail; the cache is an easy 15 feet from the trail; there is no need for any rock-climbing. The distance to the cache is 1.6 mile with an elevation gain of 900+ feet, most of it within the first mile.

The theme of this cache is BLACK & BLUE. If possible, replace anything you take with something BLACK &/or BLUE. If you don't have anything BLACK &/or BLUE for the donation, take something anyway. You deserve a reward for this hike. Cache is in a large ammo box.

Original cache contained some nice items: BLUE log book, BLACK & BLUE pen and pencils, BLUE Hot Wheels car, BLACK Hot Wheels car, BLUE air freshener, BLACK & BLUE (and other colors) ponytail holders, BLUE 2003 pocket calendar, BLACK plyers, BLUE wire cutters, BLUE bungees, BLACK & BLUE screwdirver set, BLUE deck of cards, BLACK & white camera case, BLUE flashlight, BLACK calculator, BLACK gloves, BLUE gloves, BLUE kid's stocking cap, BLUE R2D2 pez dispenser, BLACK webbing, BLUE travel toothbrush, BLUE elephant balloon weight, BLACK & BLUE carabiners (2 sets), BLUE key chain, and a delft BLUE Jud' thimble.

We are launching a new travel bug: Just Say No. It spreads the word against abuse - of any kind - whereever it goes.
