Teresitas Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

GassiPods: I cannot go there every couple of weeks to check this one or ask smorp to do it. So I will archive it to make the area free for 1/1 caches.
Anyway - thanks for trying this one.

Geocache Description:

Playa de Las Teresitas

Playa las Teresitas (description on spanish Wikipedia) is an artificial beach created at the beginning of the 70ies with sand from the Saharas. It has a  ring of large stones protecting it from waves. Some palm trees were planted, providing shadow and a couple of beach bars make it a perfect afternoon.

This place needs a cache!

To find this cache...
  1. Click on the picture to the right and identify the second bar and its toilet cabin from the right

  2. From there you have to turn to the sea and swim to the biggest rock of the dam (see the picture below. Take care, the water gets to a depth of about 15-20m - you must be a good swimmer in good condition!

  3. Find a pile of stones left from the biggest rock - it contains a micro cache container with a pencil. Watch out for slippery stones!

  4. Log the cache and make sure the cache container is well hidden and fixed, so that no big wave can wash it away! (Don't let a stone slip on your feed...).
