The River City Geocaching (& Dining) Society (RCGDS) would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to join us on May 16th - 10am to 2pm in beautiful historic Coloma (well actually we will be in Lotus next to Coloma) for the day.
Come join us for our 12th annual picnic! The day will be filled with lots of great people, good conversation and old-fashioned fun. The picnic is being held at Henningsen-Lotus Park in Lotus. We are not going to be in the main part of the park so take note of the coordinates.
A couple of small hot grills will be provided for barbecuing along with paper plates, napkins and forks and spoons.
Please bring:
1) Your own meat (or meat substitute) to grill
2) Your own drinks
3) A potluck dish of your choice to share
4) A folding chair (optional, seating is limited)
5) A small or folding table (optional, tables are limited)
We will be starting the charcoal for the grill around 11:30 am.
This a non-reserved area in the park with adjacent parking right next to the river.
There is a parking fee. Don't forget to pay it. ($20 ticket)
To the south is Coloma State park and to the north is Cronan Ranch in Pilot Hill and the Olmstead loop in Cool with hundreds of caches for your pre/post picnic pleasure.
