Now take the short walk around the back of the house to find the cache. Then check out the gardens and walk down toward the pond. Summer there may be high grass at cache location. You can bring a fishing pole, but it is catch and release.

Built prior to 1800, this gray fieldstone house is the former home of Judge Hugh M. Morris, a Delaware native, respected attorney and distinguished federal judge. Decorated in the style of the late 1930s, the period when Judge Morris completed renovations to his farmhouse, the estate includes a pond, lovely gardens, rolling manicured lawns, a fenced-in courtyard, and quaint indoor accommodations inside this exquisite stone structure.

From March 1 to November 30 day use park entrance fees are charged ($4 for Delaware car, $8 for out of state) The fee is good for all state parks that may be visited that day--save your receipt.

The Delaware Geotrail would like to thank White Clay Creek State Park for participating in the trail and MikeOtt for placing this cache.
