Geocache Description:

Cache is best aproached by ATV or Snowmachine. Cache is winter accessible.

This cache is located in a bit of a remote area. It would be best aproached by the use of an ATV or Snowmachine. Although I know first hand that some of the "Weirdo Cache Crew" has done it on Mountain bikes. It is definetly a "strenuous hike" so make sure you bring plenty of water, and be prepared. The Altitude for this climb is 3360' and the trail is steep to very steep in places.The cache is located on the peak of Mother Myric Mountain, with a great overlook of the neighboring Town of Dorset. Years ago there was a plane crash on the top of this peak and a piece of the tail section still remains. You may see it, as it is right along the side of the trail about 100' from the top of the mountain.The cache is a qt plastic jar with red top with some of the usual stuff and a log book.
