The Moeller family willed this wonderful 80-acre ridge to the
Town of Lessor, which created a nature park in 2006.
Now, the point of geocaching is the find, not the goodies inside
the cache. But let's be honest. Especially when you have little
ones along, they love finding a cool toy in the box. So, we have
designed this to be a Toy Trader Cache!
This cache was amply seeded with toys, including a special toy
for the FKTF--First KID To Find! Please, no dirty golf balls,
shower heads, or spark plugs (all of which we have actually found
in other caches). The cache is a medium-sized ammo box, not the
huge grenade types, so toys should be beanie-baby or baseball-sized
or smaller. If you don't want to trade a toy, just sign the
logbook.
Either way, enjoy the view, and the nature, at this wonderful
little park. Assorted wildlife may greet you, and you may see a
crane if you're lucky. Ample parking is on-site and a port-a-let is
available. There is no 'trail' per se, but the underbrush is kept
clean and it is a relatively easy walk.
PARKING/ACCESS: The parking lot for the park is on County X,
just south of highway 156.
