Geocache Description:

Nevers Gift Horse

Horses' gums recede as they age making their teeth appear to grow long. Should you ever be given a horse, you can look at their teeth as a way of checking for old age.

Nevers Park in South Windsor is a great place to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. A wide, stone-dust path takes you past the Bark Park, through the woods and by athletic fields. Look for ponds, a stream and vernal pools as you make your way to the cache. If you have younger children, visit the Boundless Playground. The playground is designed to allow children and adults of all abilities to “come together and experience the wonder of play in a safe, barrier-free environment.”

This cache was placed with the permission of the South Windsor Recreation Department.
