Both members of the RC Pirates are graduates from the University of Michigan. Growing up in the Midwest and moving to the West Coast, it was quite the coincidence that we moved less than a block away from Michigan Street. We decided we just had to place a cache. Bring your own pen.
A little U of M history - The University was founded in Detroit 1817 as one of the first public universities in the country. The school moved westward to Ann Arbor in 1837, when Ann Arbor was only 13 years old. When the first classes were taught in 1841, U-M had two professors and seven students.
