We can almost say this is our Geocaching Year End / Christmas Party for
this region - so please bring along as many cachers and
non-cachers as you can. Please also wear something
red if you can, in support of
World Aids Day.
The event is sponsored (so far) by
COST:
The cost for the event will be R40 per person (Pre-registered) +
lunch (optional) or R50 per person on the day.
Moneys will go toward the expenses for the event as well as for
some lekka prices.
LUNCH:
The price of lunch will be R60 (payable to DomeInn on the day) and
will include the Main Meal, Pudding, Fruit Juice and
coffee/tea.
TIMES:
Registration / Opening Time: 07:00
Briefing Time: 08:45 for 15 minutes
Teams Leave: From 09:00 - 09:30
Teams Arrive Back: 13:00 - 14:00
Lunch: 13:30 onwards
Marking: 14:00 - 14:30
Prize Giving: 15:00
ACCOMMODATION:
For those of you that would like to stay over there is plenty
accommodation available in the Parys area. Checkout www.parys.info for
venues or book accommodation at www.domeinn.co.za (the caching
venue)
BRING WITH:
Please bring with the following for the event:
- Short Clothes for the event (as it can get fairly hot and
remember the red)
- Costumes (there is a pool and also some water sports...)
- A sealable bag or Jiffy Bag (we might have some spares)
- A towel or two
- Your normal bag of GeoGoodies.
