This is almost a ‘cache and dash’ except there is a small hill to climb with a path that can be a bit dodgy in places, especially when wet (ok, so that’s most of the time), so boots are advised. The reward is a fantastic view of the Highlands Edge from a well-constructed viewing platform.
Park in the lay-by on the Dukes Pass at N56*12.668 / W004*22.850. Cross the road and look for the sign post which shows the way. Don’t forget your camera.
