Maybe I should have named this cache "Three's A Charm" because I
was considering two other locations and had actually placed the
container in both of them over night before, on the third day, I
finally ended up leaving it...
On The Edge
The first two locations were really really cool and certainly
easy enough to get to, just by crossing the naked moonlike
landscape (thanks to the fire of 2003) but, "What will this place
look like in the future, after years of robust regrowth?" I
contemplated. "Will the destination still be worth the effort
then?" Perhaps this third appointment will fare better with
time.
... and it better! ...because after all this
indecision, this cache is really out... On The Edge!
You'll find it stocked with a log book, pen, pencil and pencil
sharpener. The original trade items include an earring that I found
at Rocky Peak, a brass match holder, a Yosemite button, Spinach,
Chive & Zinnia seeds, a pack of blister treatment pads, new
skin, a poncho, a whistle with compass, thermometer &
magnifying glass and a Where's George dollar.
Where sturdy shoes and carry
water.
