Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates although it is within a few miles.

Redwood Shores is built on former marshlands and is bounded by sloughs of the San Francisco Bay. The aquatic nature of the surroundings is carried into the planned community in the form of water channels and lagoons, which are scenic backdrops for several of the local parks.

Shorebird Park is a 4-acre park along a narrow waterway of the Redwood Shores lagoon. Features include a grass field, tennis courts, picnic area and restrooms. A parking lot is available off Island Drive. As the name implies, this is a popular park for shorebirds, so watch out for “calling cards”.

Sudoku is a game of logic with the simple rules that each row, column and 3 X 3 box must contain the numbers from 1 to 9. The cache can be found by solving the following medium-difficulty puzzle to complete the formula for the final coordinates:

N 37° 32.ABC’ W 122° 15.DEF’

websudoku.com medium-difficulty, puzzle #12345

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

Follow the listed coordinates to the parking lot. It’s a short walk from there to the cache. FTF prize is a Sacajawea dollar. Game on!
