The third cache in my Riparian series, located in a small riverside walk area on Chittenango Creek on the outlet from Cazenovia (Owahgena) Lake.
Cazenovia Lake is a glacial scour lake which forms one of the sources of Chittenango Creek (be sure to check out "HaHa" Nelson and Holy Hemlocks! caches which are in the Nelson Swamp, another water source for the Chittenango, as well as the many caches down the length of the creek).
Cazenovia Lake was known to the Haudenosaunee as "Owahgena", the Lake of the Yellow Perch.
This is probably the easiest cache I have hidden. Please take great care to replace the cover and concealment.
The cache is a camo painted tea tin, and you should BYOP.
