How Geocaching Works
There's an entry fee of $5.00 per vehicle. The park closes at dusk. Be sure and pick up a park map when entering. The park entrance is at N29 50.893 W081 57.718. There are four sites; you will be looking for brass tags with the next coordinates stamped into them. At the end you will find a Ammo box with a combination lock, there will be a tag close by to give you a clue to the combination.
No bushwhacking required stay on the paved roads and marked trails.
This is not a typical multi-cache. It’s located in Mike Roses Gold Head Branch State Park. The CCC developed the park on a 2,000-acre site during the 1930s. The extraordinary craftsmanship is still evident today. There are several hiking trails in the park including four miles of the Florida National Scenic Trail. These trails meander through the park's diverse habitats of open sand hills and lush ravine system with its seepage springs that flow into the lakes. Come for the day and enjoy the many other activities. Camping and Cabins available. (visit link)
