
Welcome to Camp Kippechewan on the beautiful shore of Clear
Lake. Geocaching adventures will abound in this setting with an
assortment of learning and fun caching activities for the whole
family.

Risk
The classic game of world domination. 6 published caches will be
released on Saturday morning and within will be the 42 countries of
the Risk world. Up to 6 teams (may be randomly combined if more
than 6 wish to participate) will compete by finding the caches,
retrieving a country from each and then playing out the game back
at the camp on a computer (takes too long with dice). Prizes will
be awarded to the last three teams to stave off elimination, with
the grand prize to the one responsible for world domination.

Get Bear Smart Geocaching
Challenge
Have fun learning about bears and bear safety by taking part in the
“Get Bear Smart” Geocaching Challenge. Collect a Bear Smart card at
each of the hidden cache locations and then take part in our
Challenge. An exciting board game where you become the game pieces.
Get the question right and move ahead of the competition. Be the
first to complete our Challenge and win a prize!!
For children ages 5 to 95!!
Potluck
We will have two BBQ's (really this time for sure ;-)on site so
bring your grilling item of choice, your own refreshments and a
dish for the table. Plates, cups and cutlery available for those
who don't bring their own.
Camping
Camping is available on either/both Friday July 7 and Saturday
July 8 for the first 60 people who indicate they wish to camp. The
fee is $5 per person per night, children 12 and under are free.
Please indicate your desire to camp, number of people and which
evenings you wish to stay in your note to attend the event. You do
not have to camp to attend the event on Saturday.
The camp is equipped with a kitchen shelter, a cook shelter, 2
dry toilets, fire wood, a large fire circle and a well (Please boil
the water. With the big shelters this event will go rain or shine
(hopefully more of the later).
Fees
The event is within the boundaries of Riding Mountain National
Park and subject to park admission fees. Park passes are available
from the gates, park administration office or many of the local
business. There may be a small fee (less than $5) to offset the
cost of the facility based on attendance.
