Miragee: Boy, that tree has really grown. I think the container got swallowed up . . . Thanks to everyone who came all the way out here to find this cache.

Geocache Description:

A cammoed waterproof match container near an intersection where two roads, with three different names intersect.

It seems as if many roads in the Jamul area have an identity crisis. If you are driving up Lyons Valley Road from Highway 94 and go straight at the three-way stop sign, you are on Skyline Truck Trail.

At the other end of Skyline Truck Trail, if you go straight through this intersection, after stopping at the stop sign, of course, you are on Honey Springs Road.

This is a local "landmark" in that it has a name. It is called "Four Corners." Most everyone around here knows exactly where you are talking about when you say that.

This is just a little cache to guide you on your way out here in the back country. If you go north on Lyons Valley Road from here, you will find several other caches along the way to Interstate 8 about 15 miles to the north.

If you go down Honey Springs Road from here, you will eventually get to the Hollenbeck Canyon area, where there are more and more caches every day.

You can park within a few feet of the cache. There is plenty of room on either side of the road to pull off safely. At times, this area will be deserted. However, the day I placed the cache, several vehicles came by from three different directions. Please use stealth if you see people in the area.
