Borky00's 2,000th Find! This cache is intended to commemorate Borky00's 2,000th find on December 30, 2012. A pretty rugged area with a fairly high terrain rating that can change with seasons, brushy and steep access from the road.
This (regular size) cache is located and hidden near but not on Ushers Ferry Historic Village or Seminole Valley Park property. If interested in Ushers Ferry see this web page: click here during open hours, take time to enjoy this historical perspective of a small 1900's Iowa town. The floods of 2008 have put the Museum under construction and is slowly being put back in operation for tours. ***PLEASE OBSERVE THE USHERS FERRY HOURS OF 10AM TO 4PM, M-F, CLOSED WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. NO DOGS PLEASE. STAY OUT OF CONSTRUCTION AREA***
Use caution when finding this cache. Search and find at your own risk. Loose rocks and steep grade can cause injury in all weather (dry, wet or icy) conditions. Do not block local resident’s driveways. Suggested parking can be found near Ushers Ferry Historic Village, or just off the side of the road. You do not need to cross any fence or private property to find the cache. Be safe and have fun.
