This cache implies a GPS-guided hiking tour in the beautiful, unique Dobratsch area. You should have some alpine mountain hiking experience including light climbing abilities. No special equipment is needed (rope or similar), only good hiking boots and free of giddiness are recommended. If you are in very good condition, you can do it in 2 ½ hours, otherwise take at least 4-5 hours time. You have to overcome about 800m in height, downwards and upwards.

Start your quest at the above given coordinates (way point 1). There you will find a big information board with the actual height above sea level. The digit for 100 meters is A, the one for 10 meters is B and the one for meters is C. Sit down for a while, create a route in your GPS and calculate the first three way points (WP):
WP2: 2N=1N-A*31; 2E=1E+A*85
WP3: 3N=1N-B*25-15; 3E=1E+B*94+4
WP4: 4N=1N-C*103; 4E=1E+C*224
At WP2 you will leave the paved road and enter a marked hiking path. It is important to stay on this path until WP6!
At WP3 the path makes a sharp bend to the south. From now on it goes downwards.
At WP4 you will find a bench. On the bottom you will find a date for calculating the next waypoints.
The day is D and the Month is E. The first two digits of the year (# of centuries) is the number F, the last two digits, which are the same, is the number G.
Sit down enjoy the fresh air of the wood and the nice view and extend your route with the following way points:
WP5: 5N=4N-F*3-G; 5E=4E-G*7-E
WP6: 6N=4N-G*3+D; 6E=4E-D*97
WP7: 7N=4N-E*27; 7E=4E-G*24+D-E
WP8: 8N=4N-G-F-D*2; 8E=7E
At WP5 you will find a spring. It is a little bit off the main path and you do not have to visit it.
At WP6 it is important to leave the marked hiking path and enter the broad forest road. You have reached the lowest point of the hike. Walk this road over several creeks to the end (in west direction). Slightly before the end (after passing a fallen tree) turn to north and find a yellow point marked hunters path. Follow this path to WP7. If you loose the path, don’t worry. You can either try to find the path again or head directly to WP7. You should stay almost at the same height. This part of the hike is a bit exacting.
At WP7 you have to search for a new path which is heading to north (upwards).
Shortly after WP7 you will find WP8, a little memorial for a plunged down person.
On the memorial board you will find a date. Take the day of the date as hint H.
WP9: 9N=8N+H*11-2; 9E=8E-H+4
Don’t go directly to WP9. Stay on the path to north until you find a steel rope in the east. If your GPS shows WP9 in the east you must see the rope. Go along the rope to WP9, which is another memorial for a hunter. On this board you will find a number (years of job). This is the last hint J.
WP10 (cache): 10N=9N+J*5+10; 10E=9E+J*33-10
From WP9 to WP10 try to stay on the hunters path. It is not necessary, but easier to walk.

Dies ist eine wunderschöne Wanderung im Naturpark Dobratsch . Du solltest etwas Bergerfahrung mitbringen (auch gutes Schuhwerk und Schwindelfreiheit ist angebracht), sonst wird aber nichts benötigt (wie Seil etc.). Wenn Du gut drauf bist, geht es in 2.5 Stunden, es kann aber auch 4-5 Stunden dauern. Die Gesamthöhendifferenz ist ca 800m.
An den gegebenen Koordinaten (WP1) befindet sich eine große Schautafel, auf welcher die aktuelle Höhe steht. Die Hunderterstelle gibt Dir A, die Zehnerstelle B und die Einerstelle C. Setz Dich hin und berechne die nächsten 3 Wegpunkte:
WP2: 2N=1N-A*31; 2E=1E+A*85
WP3: 3N=1N-B*25-15; 3E=1E+B*94+4
WP4: 4N=1N-C*103; 4E=1E+C*224
Bei WP2 verlässt Du die Asphaltstraße und betrittst einen markierten Steig (auf dem Du bis WP6 bleiben solltest ).
Bei WP3 macht der Weg eine scharfe Kurve nach Süden und von nun an geht’s bergab.
Bei WP4 findest Du eine kleine Bank, auf deren Unterseite sich ein Datum befindet zur Berechnung der weiteren Punkte :
Der Tag ist D, das Monat E, die vorderen 2 Stellen der Jahreszahl geben F und die hinteren 2 Stellen (welche gleich sind) geben G.
Setz Dich hin, genieße die schöne Aussicht und berechne die nächsten Punkte :
WP5: 5N=4N-F*3-G; 5E=4E-G*7-E
WP6: 6N=4N-G*3+D; 6E=4E-D*97
WP7: 7N=4N-E*27; 7E=4E-G*24+D-E

Bei WP5 findest Du eine Quelle (etwas abseits vom Weg)
Bei WP6 kommst Du auf eine Forststraße, der Du nach Westen folgst. Kurz vor deren Ende (nach einem umgefallenen Baum) geht ein, mit gelben Punkten markierter, Steig etwas über der Straße weiter. Du kannst versuchen, diesen Weg zu finden oder auch direkt zu WP7 weitergehen (immer ungefähr auf der gleichen Höhe).
Bei WP7 kommst Du auf einen markierten Weg, der nach Norden führt.
Kurz nach WP7 kommt WP8 – eine Gedenktafel mit einem Datum : der Tag des Datums gibt Dir H
WP9: 9N=8N+H*11-2; 9E=8E-H+4
Geh nicht direkt zu WP9 sondern folge dem Steig, bis Du rechts ein Stahlseil siehst (das GPS sollte WP9 ziemlich genau im Osten anzeigen). Geh an diesem Seil entlang und Du findest WP9 (auch eine Gedenktafel). Die einzige Zahl auf dieser Tafel gibt Dir J.
WP10 (cache): 10N=9N+J*5+10; 10E=9E+J*33-10
Von WP9 zu WP10 führt ein Jägersteig, den Du nicht verlieren solltest (es geht auch ohne, so ist es aber einfacher)
