There is a bag of artifacts for you to peruse,
if conditions permit and you are so inclined. Please feel free
to take/trade said items.
There are seventy (70) acres of State-owned land here (acquired
1958), but the boundaries are still a mystery to me. If someone can
find the following, get coordinates and I will add a waypoint:
Indian Village: This three-acre area is
already State-owned property and is the site for a large Indian
rock shelter under an immense glacial boulder. The boulder is one
of the larger specimens within the State. Indian artifacts have
been found here, indicating that the area was used as a camping
site or shelter of some kind.
If the exact cache hidey-hole is not obvious to you, make
another scan of the area. This type of container has not proved to
be as watertight as it looks. Please re-bag the contents
carefully.
