Hide'n cache is a dirty business!!
Helena/Hoover Area; 4x4, dirtbike, or hike this one. Cache is located about 8/10 of a mile from Elvira via JEEP trails.
This cache is hidden at the end of some of my personal favorite JEEP trails. You will need a 4x4 or dirtbike to get to the cache..... unless you want to have a moderate hike from the paved road. Hope you don't mind getting muddy! When you find the geocache, please place the ammo box back in it's upright position to help with waterproofing. I have attached a "spicy little number" on the inside of the hatch to reward the "First Time Finder"....ENJOY!!
**Update 2-15-06** Would not recommend going for this one after a considerable amount of rain has fallen. If water is running over the corners of the dam, cache will be a dangerous find.
**Trail status** Much of the Jeep trail has now been graded so the giant mudholes and ruts are no longer an issue.
***Trail status 5-9-09*** The monster mudholes are back!!! Hip Hip HUZZAH!!!
