Geocache Description:

We understand that the threat of cosmic impact (most likely a 1km asteroid) to earth is predicted to occur within the next 1,000 years.  However, we have it under advisement from unnamed sources based at Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton, that an event of smaller magnitude will hit in the Western United States late in the evening of December 31st, 2014,   Experts from the ET Highway will be convening in Auburn, CA that evening to witness this event which may include aliens from other galaxies.

It is predicted that such an event will leave the area totally trashed.  As as result, we are sending out a call for all available geocachers to arrive promptly at 8:30AM, with their protection gear, gloves and trash bags to restore the area to conditions that existed before the predicted extraterrestrial encounter.
