Half Moon CITO Cache In Trash Out Event

Cache In Trash Out® Week is almost upon us! On April 22–30, geocachers around the world gather at events to clean up the geocaching game board: Planet Earth. Whether planting trees, removing invasive species or simply tidying up a park, you’ll earn the 2017 CITO souvenir by attending a CITO event.

Bay View a very small abandoned park next to Half Moon Beach. This is located on the shores of Half Moon lake in Eau Claire.  The shoreline seems to collect most of the debris left from the lake users.  This is a great area to gather and earn our 2017 CITO Souvenir. This event is set for April 22, 2017 from 9:00 - 10:00am, hosted by comkelp and LeeArrowslinger.  We will supply trash bags, along with bottled water and snacks. We suggest you wear waterproof footwear, as the area can be wet at times. Also, bring along gloves to keep your hands clean and dry.  We look forward to seeing you there!
