Located at Horserace pond, just off the Golden rd, before Chesuncook Lake. 2 mile hike, elevation rises going in
Use pg 50 of the Maine map book to zero in on Horserace pond, it's in sector D3, just off the Golden rd. Drive in the short rd near the Cinder pit, and park near the entrance to the trail. The hike in is about 2 miles, mostly uphill and near a stream. Once at the pond use your GPS, and the cache should be yours shortly. The cache is about 100 ft from the pond, and the container is a green/black 1 gallon Igloo cooler with a screw-top. Items in this cache are quite good, well worth the hike. Also contains a camera to take a picture of your team/self.
