This cherished Daibutsu may be the most muggled spot in Kamakura but the cache location will provide zen to those who search. Along the way, you will find a cool, calmness of trees surround you.
Buddha's enlightenment may inspire you to find this cache and put in a temple or Daibutsu souvenir/charm. This cache started originally contained 3 small charms of what most gaijin call "Big Buddha". The shady area of this cache is a nice, cool spot when sunny or hot! It is also very peaceful in cache area.
Big hint: This cache is not inside the temple area.
ACCESS: walking distance from Hase station via Kamakura station. Also you can rent a bike from front of Kamakura station by the police station; now there is new electric bike shop behind station but requires passport for foreigners.
There is a very small dirt area next to cache for parking one car.
Note: There is a very interesting cemetery 100 meters away
