macatac1961: There is a new permit policy in place in this preserve and it didn't make sense to ask permission for a 9 year old cache that most cachers had found already. Picked it up this morning. Thanks for all the nice logs folks. And thank you also to the folks at The Nature Conservancy.

Geocache Description:

Located in Wolf Swamp Preserve in Southampton, NY

Wolf Swamp is a great little preserve maintained by 'The Nature Conservancy'. A short hike, take either trail at the trailhead since the whole loop would take all of about 5 minutes. This is a preserve so please stay on the trail until you reach the site. The cache is only 10 - 12 feet from the trail in a logical spot for a Decon box that could very possibly contain a log, pencil, a WG$ and a few small trade items. There's a small pull-off here:
