Allgemein: 9für5&5für1 - Dies ist einer der Neun „9für5&5für1“-Caches; im Ötztal der Sie einen Schritt näher an den Ötz-taler führen kann. Was müssen Sie tun um an dieses Schmuckstück des Ötztals zu gelangen? Innerhalb des Ötztals befinden sich neun Caches, unter dem Namen 9für5 & 5für1. Ziel ist es fünf von diesen neun Caches ausfindig zu machen, um den Ötztaler Geocoin entgegennehmen zu können. Die einzelnen Caches sind mit Lochern versehen von denen Sie fünf verschiedene benötigen, um an den begehrten Ötztaler Geocoin zu kommen. Der Final Cache zählt nicht zu den 5. Den Coin bekommen Sie ab jetzt unter den Koordinaten N 47° 08.375' E 010° 55.648' Diese kleine Schatzsuche führt Sie durch die landschaftliche Vielfalt des Ötztals. Zum Cache Gampe Thaya: Mitten im Skigebiet von Sölden liegt eine der ältesten Thayas im Ötztal. Ihre ca. 370 Jahre alten Stuben gemixt mit neuer Architektur und umrandet mit einer großen Sonnenterrasse lassen einen Besuch auf 2.000m Seehöhe zu einem besonderen Erlebnis werden. Besonders hervorzuheben bei dieser Berghütte im echten Tiroler Stil ist, dass sie allein vom Hüttenwirt renoviert wurde, beispielsweise schleppte er in den 80er Jahren die Schindeln fürs Dach, mit der Kraxe selbst hinauf. Auch werden auf der Gampe Thaya ausschließlich Produkte aus eigener Landwirtschaft und von heimischen Bauern angeboten. Sogar Brot und Almkäse werden hier noch selbstgemacht.
Entlang des Weges zur Gampe Thaya kann man sich an speziellen Infosäulen, welche den Lehrpfad für Hochgebirgsökologie bilden, über die heimische Flora und Fauna, informieren. Dieser Weg ermöglicht Einblicke in den harten Überlebenskampf der Tiere und Pflanzen in den Alpen. Der Lehrpfad führt großteils im Bereich der natürlichen Waldgrenze, in der Übergangszone zwischen subalpiner Wald- und alpiner Zwergstrauchstufe, den „unteren Stockwerken" des Ökosystems Hochgebirge. Bitte achten Sie deshalb bei Ihrer Suche darauf die Natur nicht zusätzlich zu belasten. Bleiben Sie bei hohem Gras am Rande im Gänsemarsch oder auf schon vorhandenen Wegen.

Basics: This is one of the nine 9for5&5for1 Caches, which gets you one step closer to the precious Ötztaler Geocoin! So, what do you need to do? Throughout the Ötztal there are nine caches under the Name “9for5&5for1”; located at different parts of the Valley. The goal of this game is to find five of these nine Caches to earn the Ötztaler Geocoin. Inside each of the nine caches you will find orienteering punches. Each punch should be used to create a unique mark. Creating the mark will provide evidence of your success in finding the caches. You need to produce five different marks to earn the Ötztaler Geocoin. The Final Cache does not belong to the 5 you have to find. Bring this proof to the coordinates N 47° 08.375' E 010° 55.648'. To Gampe Thaya Cache: In the middle of the ski area of Sölden lies one of the oldest thayas in the Ötztal. Their approximately 370-year-old rooms mixed with new architecture and surrounded by a large sun terrace makes a visit to 2,000m above sea level a special experience.Particularly noteworthy in this mountain hut in true Tyrolean style is that it was renovated by the landlord alone, for example, he dragged the shingles for the roof up by himself. Also on the Gampe Thaya only products from their own farm and from local farmers are offered. Even bread and alpine cheese are still homemade here.
Along the way to the Gampe Thaya you can inform yourself about the local flora and fauna by means of special information pillars, which form the educational path for high mountain ecology. This path provides insights into the hard struggle for survival of animals and plants in the Alps. The nature trail leads mostly around the natural forest line, in the transition zone between the subalpine forest and alpine dwarf shrub stage, the "lower levels" of the high mountain ecosystem. While looking for the cache, please take care of your surroundings. If the grass is tall, stay on the edge in single file or on existing paths.
