Geocache Description:

This cache is a small click and lock container hidden in the small village of Rhostrobin. Originally as can be seen below it was a cache designed to drop of travel bugs. Unfortunately after land disputes on the public footpath on which the cache was placed it disappeared. I have suspisions as what happened to it, a local person I know off but... The cache is large enough to hold around ten geo coins, and small travelbugs. Happy caching,

Original Listing. This cache is a large size ammo cam, and can be found after a short walk from the recommended parking site, although please note that the entrance to the footpath is down a set of steep steps, as always care should be taken. This cache is titled as a Travel Drop Off, due to it being one of the only traditional caches near Wrexham that I believe can take large quantity's of bugs and coins. The reason I placed this cache was after reading a forum discussion on the lack of anywhere to dump large amounts of bugs and coins. There is no one to one rule, this isn't a bug hotel, just a place for you to drop off those bugs that I'm sure you'be had lying around for a while, You want to take them take them, and help them, on there way. The recommended parking is on Ty Gwyn Lane, a good place to park is on the gravel large by the entrance to a large field, if this is full there is a grass area running right down the road which can be parked on if required. From the parking area, cross the road and walk across the road bride, note at time of cache placement major work is being undertaken so only the pedestrian walkway is open. Immediately after the bridge is a footpath sign pointing down a set of steps, walk down the steps and then follow your GPS, a short walk will lead you to the cache. NOTE: During the bridge work it is possible that the footpath will be blocked, if so continue down the road and there will be a silver gate on your right, climb over and follow the path down then turn right follow your GPS. Don't panic the land here is used by dog walkers and I've checked and they are happy for people to use the gate. Inside the box is an assortment of goodies as well as a few Geocoins and Travelbugs, 3 of which I'm releasing. Please replace as found, and happy caching. There was a large fire at the pallet factory a few days ago, this video taken by me and some friends may be of interest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgzboSLENxM Travel Bug missions:~ (unless stated all want to just travel) Piet the Travel Dog : Would like to visit Ireland, can any cacher help him by moving him along the North Wales coast.
