This cache is to celebrate (as late as it may be now) jtec007's 1000th cache find. Sharrondore and I wanted to keep the silver ammo box tradition for every area cacher who reaches the milestone of 1000 finds going. It has been a crazy run up until this point. We were certain at points that we were going to be on the show "COPS" or at least make the 10 o'clock news because of our suspicious activity. I'm not so sure we would have made it this far without jtec007's famous line " I can get you closer!" There is always a faster way to get to the cache, too bad we more likely than not find that fast way on the walk out. Didn't the old man say stay on the path? Why couldn't we always just listen to that mysterious old man, bushwacking is rarely the answer but what is caching without a little unneccessary bushwacking? If you would have watched the group in our early days you would be amazed that any of us have 100 finds. We got faster, stronger and wiser. jtec put us through caching training camp, and with a little help from Coach Jaenke we were backpedaling up hills to caches like champs. Some caches got so easy that they were like shooting fruit in a barrel. You could even say they might be low hanging fish in jtec007's book. jtec also trained us in endurance caching, I will never forget the 160 cache marathon we pulled off, or that day in La Crosse. Thank God for the McDoubles and McChickens. As much as he was willing to "B" team a cache to make the find and escape from the area easier for the rest of the group, I think it is obvious that he is part of the "A" team as a cacher.
