Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. Park there.

From all directions Mt Taylor dominates the landscape, sitting atop a vast volcanic plateau, the patriarch of scores of lesser summits. It is the sire of more than (F+1)0 volcanic plugs surrounding the mountain like dwarves around a giant.

This is the country through which the Continental Divide Trail Passes. Mount Taylor is actually a smallish mountain perched on top of a vast (B)200 foot pedestal. The mountain itself rises a mere 2000 feet above this base. This underlying mesa is (Dx2)(E+1) miles long, along a northeast to southwest axis and is (A-1)(C) miles wide.

The Mount Taylor segmnent of the CDT starts at Grants and goes on to Ojo De Los Indios. At present, several alternative CDT routes exist in this region, from dirt Forest Roads to hiking trails. The semi-official off-road route was mostly developed in 2000. The Forest Service advises thru-hikers simply to follow Forest Roads 239/239A as the main alternate.

Hikers traversing the Continental Divide Trail are advised to resupply ther water at San Mateo Springs and at Ojo De Los Indios. For those of you who are here mainly to geocache, all you have to do is solve this simple puzzle.

This geocache is a cmmo'd pill fob and can be found along the CDT trail at N35 10.ABC, W 107 46.DEF

Good luck and enjoy this hunt along with other geocaches in the area.

(SOLUTION KEY: A = 1, B = 2, etc.

If the solution is a 2 number letter, use the last digit only:

T = 20 = 0, U = 21 = 1

If you see something like (X-1). If X is 7, then X-1 is 6)

Congratulations to lobosox for bagging the FTF
