Geocache Description:

A quick Darmstadt micro, not far from the Autobahn and the Hauptbahnhof.

For months after I started working in Darmstadt, I drove past this odd structure, not knowing what it was. It took me months to figure out that this was the Mozart Tower, or Mozart-Turm. It is a World War II-era bomb shelter in the Dietel-Turm design. It was formerly known as the Von Richthofen-Turm, named after Baron von Richthofen. The tower is now the home of a Mozart digital archive, as well as a photo studio and a Mozart magazine. (Why the digital archive is in Darmstadt and not in a city more associated with Mozart, I can only guess.)

Cache is a 35mm film can wrapped in black duct tape. No pen; please bring your own.

Congratulations to muggleschreck for the first to find!
