Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
You are invited to be part of the Edmonton Geocachers Christmas Party!
It's that special time of year to get together with new and old
friends and celebrate the holidays. There will be a gift exchange
that you may participate in.($10 max)
Please let me know if you're attending the party so I can guarantee
we have enough space for everyone... Thank You.
When?
Wednesday, December 14th, 2011
@ 6:30pm until 8:00pm
Where?
The Pint (south-side)
8032-104st, Edmonton. (table reserved for us under
"Geocachers")
Who May Attend?
All geocaching adults are
welcome! (i.e. out-of-towners, new cachers)
***Please keep in mind, this is a licensed establishment - NO
MINORS***
Theme? You better believe there's a theme... I have a difficult
time organizing an event without a theme. Please wear a Christmas sweater! (a
sweater that looks festive, i.e. with reindeer on it, or Santa, or
snow flakes... you get the picture. If you don't have one then just
wear a red or green sweater or shirt.)
It will be WING WEDNESDAY! Mmmmmm beer & wings. Also, stick around after the party and watch
the hockey game @ 8:00pm.
Again, for those who would like to participate in the gift
exchange, please bring a wrapped gift. (please don't spend more
than 10 bucks)
If you're not wanting to take part in the gift exchange then just
stop by for an ale.
We will also be accepting donations for the
Edmonton Food Bank. (Their most needed items include:
beans with or without pork, canned meat, canned fish, canned fruit
or vegetables, peanut butter, powdered milk, macaroni and cheese
dinners, pasta and pasta sauce, Cereal and oatmeal, school snack
items such as juice boxes, fruit cups and granola bars.) I'll
drop off the items at the food bank the next day.
Feel free to bring some travel bugs and coins... this is a great
event to do some trading around.
There will be a log-book on site to log your attendance.
Please keep this event on your watch-list as we may update info
periodically.
Hope to see you there.
Johnnygeo
Plan ahead, PLEASE don't drink and drive.
