Geocache Description:

Bring your pet, horse or mountain bike and enjoy this mostly flat, jogging stroller friendly gravel trail. You may just catch a beautiful sunset as you approach the cache final.

We took "Brown Dog", our chocolate lab for many walks along this trail.

This is "Kasee's Cache".

The Labrador Retriever is a likeable and social dog who loves everyone! They are playful companions, enjoying running, swimming and love the outdoors.

The Labrador Retriever was originally bred by fisherman in Newfoundland, Canada during the 1700's. They used them on their boats to swim out and retrieve the nets full of fish. The name "Labrador" was not coined until the British began to import the dogs in the 1800's.

Height: Males 22 1/2 - 24 1/2 inches; Females 21 1/2 to 23 1/2 inches
Weight: Males 65 - 80 pounds; Females 55 - 70 pounds.
Color: Black yellow or chocolate.
Temperament: Outgoing, friendly and easily trained. A wonderful family pet that is great with children.

About the Cache: To add a slight degee of difficulty, this multi cache has two somewhat devious WPTs with coordinates leading to a regular 30 caliber ammo can. GPSr reception is challenged at the final WP.

In the cache: "Black Dog" and "Yellow Dog" travel bugs are being "Let Out" to catch up with "Brown Dog" for a "Three Dog Night - Lab Gang" reunion somewhere in the world. The term comes from a story of Australian aborigines who, on cold nights in the outback, sleep with their dogs for warmth.

The coldest evenings are known as "Three Dog Nights". Hopefully the reunion will be somewhere warm, although "Brown Dog" was a native Alaskan pup.
