Première cache d’une série consacrée à MARSEILLE, à ses
monuments à ses paysages.
Accès au site réglementé.
Patrimoine
commun de tous les Marseillais, « Notre dame de la
Garde », «la Bonne Mère », comme nous avons plaisir à la
nommer, veille sur la ville et ses enfants. Quel Marseillais ne la
pas implorée pour
surmonter une épreuve !...
Et il est de tradition d’y monter, brûler un cierge, à la
veille d’un match de l’O.M.
L’accès
au site est réglementé et les horaires varient en fonction
des saisons.
Ouverture : le matin à 7h00
Fermeture : vers 18h00 en hiver et plus tard l’été

Construite
dans un style architectural mélangé (Romano-Byzantin) par l’architecte protestant
au nom prédestiné de Espérandieu, elle a été consacrée en
1864.
Depuis le Parking, découvrir la cache ne vous prendra que quelques
dizaines de minutes.
Vous avez tout loisir d’y consacrer plus de temps en admirant
la vue ou en visitant le monument.
Les jours de fort Mistral, votre plaisir en sera
diminué !
Il vous faudra cependant passer par les tables
d’orientation.
Laissez
votre voiture sur un des nombreux parkings prévus pour
l’accueil des visiteurs.

En certains endroits vous rencontrerez des panneaux indiquant des
« risques de CHUTE »
La cache est éloignée des falaises… et la trouver ne
présente aucun danger.
Faites confiance à votre G.P.S. pour
revenir au Parking !

MARSEILLE (monuments and landscape)
Access to the area is regulated.
Common heritage of all people living in Marseille,
“Our lady of the Guard”,
“the Good Mother” , as we have pleasure to name
Her, is taking care of the city and her children.
Each Marseillais confide
his sorrows and his joys to Her.
And it is a tradition there, to go up, burn a candle, the day
before a match of the “Olympique
of Marseille”.
The access to the site is regulated and schedules
vary, according to the seasons. Opening: Morning at 7h00
Closing: towards 18h00 in winter and later in summer.

Built in an architectural mixed style
(Romano-Byzantine) by M. Espérandieu
(protestant architect) she was devoted to Virgin
in 1864.
Since carpark, discovering the hiding
place will take you only a few tens of minutes.
You have any leisure to spend more time to visit the monument and
enjoy the fabulous panorama.
However if “Mistral” wind is blowing, the visit is less
enjoyable!
It will however be necessary for you, to go through 2 panoramic
tables.
Leave your car on one of the many car parks planned for
visitors’ reception.

Finding the hiding place requires you, to go round
the hill. (2 pictures and an extra waypoint can be helpful for
you!)
In many places you will meet road sign for “FALLING
Risks”.
The hiding place is far away from cliffs and
discover it, is not dangerous.
Believe in your G.P.S to go back to car
park.
Initial chiding place contains:
1 log book + 1 pen + Geocaching advices.
1 angel candle.
1 red candle.
1 small pink duck.
10 meter yellow ribbon.
1 toilet kit (soap + shampoo)
