That's right. 3days 2nights in BEAUTIFUL YOSEMITE Along with the group site, participants will also have the use of a free park pass for the weekend of the Event. So what's the catch? In exchange for the group site and the park pass, you will be asked to spend one day performing some menial labor(cleaning Firepits)Easy to help make Yosemite a nicer place for everyone. |

Where:
We will be in Tuolumne Meadows Group campground Tent
Camping Only, and No RV's, but don't let that stop you, please feel free to get your own campsite for your RV. You will still get in free. See Below .

When:
You can arrive as early as July 18 (Friday). The work part of this Event will take place on Saturday, . Plan on some hot and dirty work. Dress appropriately, and bring lots of water, some food and Clothes you can get dirty. You will be at +8000ft it can get cool at night and warm in the day. |

What: Stooping, bending and picking up stuff will be involved, but there is usually ample opportunity for breaks to hydrate or answer the call of nature.

Bear
Facts: Yosemite has a bear problem. No doubt about it. All campsites in Yosemite are equipped with large metal boxes for food storage. You will be warned at the entrance station that ALL food must go in these boxes. Bears can make pretty easy work of just about every model of car. Don't take any chances; use the boxes. |

Equipment:
The Park Service will provide all the tools necessary for the project. You'll be responsible for getting yourself to the worksite, all your camping necessities, and food. Showers may or may not be available will check on this? or you can drive to the valley |

Location
On the Tioga Road at Tuolumne Meadows, about 1.5 hours northeast of Yosemite Valley Elevation: 8,600 ft (2,600 m) Open: July through late September (approximately); office open from 8:30 am to 5 pm (may open at 8 am beginning mid-summer) (check for this year's estimated opening and closing dates) Reservations: Reservations are available online for half of all campsites. The other half of the campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Group site reservations are required and available online. Horse site reservations are required and available only by calling 877/444-6777. Cost: $20/night for each campsite (maximum 6 people per site). $40/night for the group campsite (13-30 people per site). $25/night for the horse sites (maximum six horses and six people per site). Number of sites: 304 (plus seven group sites and four horse sites) RV length: up to 35 ft (no RVs in group sites) Trailer length: up to 35 ft (no trailers in group sites; 27 ft trailer limit in horse sites) Dump station: Nearby, just west of the campground Groceries: Nearby, at Tuolumne Meadows store Showers: Yosemite Valley (Curry Village and Housekeeping Camp), about 1.5 hours away, or outside the park, at Lee Vining. Pets: Permitted Located on the Tioga Road (CA-120), about one hour and a half (35 mi / 22 km) north of Yosemite Valley, at 7,700 ft (2,300 m). |
