Geocache Description:

Named for Wright's Lake, a local favorite, public, well-stocked, fishing pond (one of my favorites), this cache is a bit south, up a mild hill and on the raised rim of an old irrigation ditch.

Bring your fishing gear if you have a license. Artificial lures or flies only. The rule is, no bait that has any flavor (salmon eggs, worms, etc.) Metal or plastic or feathers or rubber, attached to a hook is fine!

You WILL catch a fish. 4 trout is the current take-home limit per fisher-person.

Park where the sign indicates, walk around the dam (east side of the lake) saying, "Hello," to all who are fishing for rainbows or cutthroat trout, or "hanging out" enjoying our balmy weather and sunshine (most of the time). Hope to meet you on your trek!

Where the lake overflows into the stream, south side, follow the path to the wooden bridge spanning Chalk Creek. From there, follow your nose, or better yet, follow your GPS up through some lose rocks to your goal. YAY, YOU FOUND IT!

CONGRATS TO vaughantimothy FIRST-TO-FIND!!
