This cache is located on a bike path. Built as the bicentennial community project in 1976, this is the "Grand Daddy" of the path system. You can begin your trek in downtown Rockford and continue north through to the first Sportscore. It is about a total of 10 miles. This is part of my "Cliche' Series"........cache titles using worn trite expressions. The hide may or may not be a twist on the cliche'.
At this location you will find some peculiar art. At the first inception it was thought to have the art partially submerged. A logistic nightmare for sure! This is a muggliscious area....stealth may be required. You may want to choose your time of day to find this one. It is doable at night. Please note there are railroad tracks east of the cache. There is no need to look on or near the tracks. Cache seekers assume all risks and liabilities involved in seeking this cache. Please replace exactly as found in order to ensure the next seekers enjoyment.
