"Behind you!" cries the Princess. "It's a trap!"
Too late. The drawbridge crashes shut against the tower wall. You
turn to face your enemy, and find yourself staring into the open
maw of Thermofax.
Only your Magick sword can save you now. You swing it high, speak
the Word and stand unhurt as the blade absorbs the searing
dragon-breath.
The reptile bellows with rage and flaps its wings to fan the fire
in its belly. You are advancing, sword poised to strike, when a
familiar voice shatters the daydream and stays your mighty
hand...
The History
In the early 80’s the titles of one software publisher
dominated the minds of adventurers everywhere -- Infocom. The
“Implementers” of Infocom’s worlds were skilled
at using the then state-of-the art graphics hardware (the human
brain) to build completely engaging and fantastic worlds to
explore. Infocom titles were unique in that they included
“feelies” or extra items that often helped you complete
the game.
By the end of the decade, the age of graphical gaming had come of
age (even if the images created were meager and uninspired).
Infocom fell on hard times and was eventually consumed by
Activision and then promptly forgotten.
Until now....
The Prize
I’ve contracted with the Frobozz Magic Cache Company to
create replicas of the Magick Stone of Dreams. Although these
Magick Stones are not as potent as the real Wishbringer, they still
share many of it’s magical properties. It is rumored that
when held in the dark these stones glow with power!
The Challenge
Enter the world of Wishbringer, solve the puzzle and find the
answer to eight questions to find the Magic Stones!
Enter the
world of Wishbringer...

September 25, 2009 by TeamMonroes (340 found) For those watching this cache, here is another interactive fiction geocaching game you can play. (visit link) Since most of you are not in Ohio, you can enter the command "switch mode" to play in game mode.

September 6, 2009 by tozainamboku (5857 found) Grabbing some caches in the area I checked on this. The vial is missing. Either I don't remember where the final was exactly or it is not longer accessible. The owner may want to check it out.

September 5, 2009 by JJG10101 (6470 found) *Sigh*. Honestly, after firing up the old Infocom title "Wishbringer," it was quite rewarding to get the coords to the final. Not finding it, however, was a serious disappointment. With all the folks watching this cache, and the amount of effort required to create (not to mention solve) this one, it's a shame to see all the DNFs. I, for one, would *love* to see it replaced.
