7 Souvenirs or Bust Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lazy.Diver: It was a great event and I'm sorry that I moved away so soon after meeting some really great geocachers in my hometown. I've resettled to our new home in Florida and I have to admit the idea of year round geocaching without the snow seems mighty nice. To all my friends back home, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all completed the August challenge! Cache on....

Geocache Description:

A quick early morning Meet & Greet to grab some coffee and earn another souvernir to complete the 7 Sourveniers of August

Have you ever noticed that most events seem to be on the weekends? I get it that weekends are usually the time when more geocachers will have the time to attend an event, but what about those of us who are usually busier on the weekends? With no local events  during the weekdays on the horizon and time running out in August, I figured why not host an early morning Meet & Greet? Who knows, there may even be a weekend warrior out there who hasn't quite managed to make it to an event yet, so this might even help him or her. So if you're looking for the chance to earn a smiley for attending an event, this just might be the ticket....

I picked a location in Williamsville NY just off the I-290 in the Tony Walker Plaza (on Main Street just east of I-290) with plenty of parking and a local coffee favorite nearby to grab an early morning cup of joe. We'll hang out from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM so any geocacher who would like to stop in to sign the log book and earn a smiley is welcome to come on by. Heck, we'll even throw in a cup of coffee for free so just bring a mug and fill 'er up.

Don't miss the 7 Souvenirs of August just for lack of an event. Come on by and say hello!
