Geocache Description:

Lawrence Stephen Lowry lived at number 23, Stalybridge Road, Mottram in Longendale. from 1948 until he died. There is a Blue Plaque on the wall to tell you a little about this.

The cache itself is on the opposite side of the road.

Apparently the chap was an artist who has a exhibition on Salford Quays. I can honestly say his paintings do nowt for me but I believe the shopping is quite good.

Anyway. The cache is a blue plastic handcream tub with a screwtop. It does contain a log and a pencil. The base is magnetic.

Parking is difficult at times.
