Geocache Description:

Meet here at 8.00am sharp.

This meet n greet location is at the Gros Cap school parking lot. We can meet here and then determine if we will paddle over to ST. Helena Island depending on the weather for the day. If we head out for the paddle then we can proceed just down the road to the Gros cap nature Preserve and lauch our kayaks from there. There is no parking lot at the preserve so we can move vehicals back to the parking lot. There is possibly a light house tour involved and there is some geocaches on the island.

This is an open water paddle of about 2 1/4 miles so come prepared. I have arranged a small boat to come out in the event of a emergency arise. But this is not to ferry anyone to the island.
