Geocache Description:

This cache is on a peaceful and lovely footpath walk near a ruined church in the heart of England.

You can park on the road near the ruined church. Why is it ruined and why does such a small village have 2 churches? See the noticeboards by the church.

The cache is a waterproof, screw-lid tub about 25cm x 12cm. It is anchored with a short chain. This new version should prevent the previous damp problems

Continue past the tiny cricket pavilion to the village street. The Martin's Arms pub is exceptional in its location, food and decor. The garden is peace itself. This is rural England at its finest. The village shop is a surprise!
