This cache is on top of Casitagua Volcano overlooking the Mitad del Mundo complex
From Mitad del Mundo you can do a long hike up or from Pomasqui you can hike up the zig zag trail to Ventana Casitagua. You have a choice to hike or 4WD to the top. It is accessible with 4WD! Enjoy the fantastic view of Quito, Carcelen, Carapungo, Calderon, and far into the Valley de los Chillos. You'll likely see shepherds with their sheep on the mountain.
