Cache is hidden on Mount Methodist south of Salida. 4x4 required or a really long hike is necessary. Shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours
Turn off highway 50 onto County Road 107 south and continue until you turn right onto County Road 108. Proceed 1.8 miles from highway 50 until you reach the power lines and hang a right. Follow this until you encounter a jeep trail bearing right at N38* 29.801 W106* 00.523. Continue on this trail for 1.3 miles until you reach the fork at N38* 30.157 W106* 01.584 and hang a left. This is the trail that will take you to the cache! It gets a little hairy in some spots (depending on the amount of recent rain) but if you have 4x4 it should be no problem. The cache is next to a meadow that has tall grass and a juniper tree on the right. The cache is 60 paces SSE of the juniper, in the crotch of three trees across the brook. The exact coordinates are N38* 28.551 W106* 02.915. Contents are two marbles, shark tooth, Airlines wings pin, master card logo, nail file, "Pig's eye" Pilsner beer pin, little key, safety pin, diamond ring, heart shaped earring, blue paper clip, star hair pin, troll baby, half coconut shell, old time photo, 2 disney movie pins, fat writing pen.
