Notre Dame de la Gorge Multi-cache

Français : La vallée des Contamines-Montjoie se termine en cul-de-sac sur ce bel endroit, départ d’un grand nombre de randonnées et lieu d’un pélerinage très ancien. Une jolie visite d’un peu plus d’une heure en fonction de votre intérêt.

Cette cache est relativement facile mais peut se compliquer par l’épaisseur de neige en hiver (prévoir la tenue adaptée)
- de plus des pistes de ski de fond passant à proximité, éviter de marcher sur ces traces.
La cache est une boite de munitions contenant au départ : Jeu de cartes, boite métal, étiquette à bagage, sangle, bougie, scotch, stylo, porte-clefs, 2 ballons baudruche, pince magnet.

Prenez votre feuille de route et dirigez-vous vers l’église (WP1) tout en récoltant quelques indices. Arrivés à celle-ci vous trouverez les informations manquantes et pourrez vous diriger vers la cache. Une petite chapelle adossée à la falaise mérite de prolonger la visite. En toutes saisons, l’endroit est trés touristique, aussi soyez discret et ne laissez pas une trace trop évidente en hiver dans la neige. Merci et bonne chasse !

Pour trouver la cache vous devrez découvrir les coordonnées manquants: N 45°47.ABC E 006° 42.XYZ

• La valeur de C est égale au numéro de l’oratoire où est écrite cette phrase: “ Bienheureux toi qui as cru “..

• La valeur de Z est égale au numéro de l’oratoire où est écrite cette phrase: “ Père s’il se peut épargne moi “ .

• La valeur de B sera déterminée par votre choix:
  - Si “ STELLA MATVTINA CAVSA NOSTRE LAETITIA “ est inscrit A DROITE sous l'avançée du toit en entrant dans l'église. Alors B égale 9
  - Si “ STELLA MATVTINA CAVSA NOSTRE LAETITIA “ est inscrit A GAUCHE sous l'avançée du toit en entrant dans l'église. Alors B égale 1 .

• La valeur de Y sera également déterminée par votre choix: (Vous pouvez consulter la photo “RETABLE”)
  Une particularité concerne ce groupe de statues du retable au-dessus du maître-autel :
  - Si la Vierge a perdu l'enfant qu'elle tenait dans ses bras. Y = 8
  - Si les statues ne sont pas à leur place d'origine. Y = 3
  - Si ces statues ont été volées et ne sont plus dans l'église. Y = 6

• Pour déterminer A et X, regardez la date figurant sur la façade du chalet situé à droite de l’église, (vous pouvez consulter la photo “CHALET”)
  Cette date est sous la forme année : * * * * où l’on retiendra pour A et X : * X A *. .

  Vous avez maintenant les coordonnées finaux de la cache.
  Petit challenge (non obligatoire et sans lien avec la cache) Voir photo “OBJET”: A quoi sert cet objet ? Où se situe-t’il ? (La photo n’est pas forcément dans le bon sens, ni à l’échelle !) - Rien à gagner, juste pour l’amusement ! Les réponses à m’adresser par mail !

  Maintenant si vos enfants en ont assez, si vous voulez vous baigner en été, le parc de loisirs (jeux pour enfants/espace détente) est à deux pas au WP2 ...

This cache is relatively easy but could be harder because of snow thickness in winter (forecast adapted dressing)
- and more, nordic ski trails are near by, please avoir walking in the tracks.
The cache is an ammo box including cards game, métal box, luggage label, strap,candle, tape,key-holder, plastic balloons, magnetic pinch.

Take a copy of the cache publication and go to the church (WP1) reaping on the way some signs. Arrived to the church you’ll find there the missing informations and would be able to go on to the cache. A little chapel built against the cliff worth to extend the visit. In every seasons, the place is very touristic, so be discrete and don’t leave a too much obvious track in winter in the snow. Thanks and good hunting !

To find the cache you need to look for the missing co-ordinates: N 45°47.ABC E 006° 42.XYZ

• C value equal to the number of the oratorical where that phrase is written : “ Bienheureux toi qui as cru “.

• Z value equal to the number of the oratorical where that phrase is written : “ Père s’il se peut épargne moi “ .

• B value would be determinate by your choice :
  - If “ STELLA MATVTINA CAVSA NOSTRE LAETITIA “ is written AT RIGHT under the forward roof as you are entering into the church. So B equal 9.
  - If “ STELLA MATVTINA CAVSA NOSTRE LAETITIA “ is written AT LEFT under the forward roof as you are entering into the church. So B equal 1..

• Y value would be also determinated by your choice: (You could refer to the picture “RETABLE”)
  One particularity regards the group of statues of the retable above the hight altar :
  - If the Virgin have lost the child that she kepts between her arms. Y = 8
  - If the statues are not at their original places. Y = 3
  - If these statues have been stolen and are no more inside the church . Y = 6

• To determinate A and X, look at the date written on the front of the chalet, situated at the right side of the church,( you can use the picture “CHALET”)
  This date is written as a year pattern : * * * * where you’ll keep as values for A an X : * X A * .

  You now have the final co-ordinates of the cache.
