Geocache Description:

THE ABOVE COORDS ARE BOGUS!
You must collect the 4 clues hidden among the puppies to calculate the correct coordinates for this cache!

This series has been quite the labor of love. I hope all that have done it have enjoyed it. I tried to make it a wide variety of hides, locations and containers to make it as interesting as possible. Naming the puppies after cachers I hoped would boost comraderee and help others get to know each other. Once the series started a caching friend and photoshop KING, Atrus started attaching pics to his log of a famous "cacher" with the same name as the pup. So then added another cool element to the cache pages. At least once I have the pictures all up on the pages that is. Thanks Atrus!

REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE THE SERIES AND COLLECT THE PRIZE:

1. Successfully log at cache site and on-line the first 100 LB's Dalmatian caches.

2. Create a Public Bookmark List of the 100 pups you have successfully found. Here is an example of how it should be titled: Mycachinghandle found LB's 101 Dalmatians. UPDATE: As of 8/5/08 your bookmark needs to stay permanent. Your public bookmark becomes part of the series.

3. Collect all 4 clues and calculate the coordinates for the final. Be sure to contact Laineybug via email so I can place your prize in the 101 cache.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

What is the prize you ask?

I had 101 custom geocoins minted just for this series. They are trackable on GC.com. Only those that complete the series will have ownership of this coin. Only one coin will be awarded per qualifying GC.com handle. Keep it for others to discover your great puppy adventure. I will be placing one out into the big ole world myself so feel free to hang on to yours!

What is LB’s Dalmatians Series?

This series has 101 caches with the 101st being a final that can only be accessed once you have found all the previous 100 Dalmatian caches. When you’ve found the first 100, you will have the information you need to find the final. The information will be unmistakable, so don’t worry about over looking it. Stay on your toes though, because only FOUR caches contain the info and I will NOT indicate on the cache page which caches have it. When you find a cache with information please do not share this with anyone else. Logging all 100 caches as well as having the four pieces of information is required to find the final 101 Dalmatian. These "pups" will be released SLOWLY but surely. Big thanks to NCreviewer for being so patient with me.

The final will have a special prize for EACH person that completes it. So, no need to rushy, rushy all will get a prizey, prizey. Each container is Dalmatian Dog themed whether with a pic, toy, figurine or other spotted pup thingy. I tried to make most containers/hides interesting with a variety of cache types and styles. Some pups will be a quick park and grab, with others requiring a little more time and effort. You may find that the log is a bit “different” too. It won’t always be where or what you think!

ABOVE ALL ELSE: You are looking for the PUP! Once you do, show it some love, pat it on the head (back), then leave it for others to find.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE DALMATIAN RELATED ITEM!!!! It is considered part of the cache container.

Oh yeah, the name of each “puppy” relates to a geocacher. If you know the cacher I list then give them their “props”, if not but you know one sharing the same name then by all means tell us about them and give them their kudos! Hope you have fun with this series! Happy caching! Woof! Woof!
